About Zach

After completing an Associates Degree in Digital Media in Michigan Zach fled to the west coast hoping to fulfill his need to explore and photograph new landscapes. He quickly became captivated by the night skies of the Nevada desert which led to an ever increasing interest in timelapse photography, the perfect way to combine photography and cinematography. 

Zach has since published two Vimeo Staff Picked films titled, "Awake" and "Mexico: A Timelapse Project". "Awake" highlights the vastness of the western United States and its unpolluted night skies while "Mexico: A Timelapse Project" captures the beautiful and lesser known landscapes of Mexico. Zach has worked as camera operator and timelapse photographer for Animal Planet, HGTV and most recently National Geographic Wild.
